Deine Aufgaben

• Erstellung und technische Freigabe von Berechnungsmodellen, Statik-, Festigkeit- und/oder F&DT Nachweisen, Reports und Studien für Flugzeugstrukturen für alle Airbus Programme (A350XWB, A320 Familie und zukünftig Flugzeug Programme)
• Definition von Methoden und Spezifikationen, sowie Freigabe von Bauunterlagen und Dokumentationen
• Prüfung und Archivierung der extern und intern erstellten Analysen und Dokumentationen
• Validierung von relevanten inputs von Design für die Erstellung von Bauunterlagen für die Fertigung, und Unterstützung anderer Funktionen (Fertigung, Kunden) bei Bedarf
• Fachliche Führung, Monitoren, und Unterstützung von Unterauftragnehmern
• Sicherstellen der Einhaltung von Lufttüchtigkeitsvorschriften, relevanten Konstruktionsprinzipien, Prozessen, Methoden und Richtlinien zur Herstellungsfähigkeit für einen sicheren Betrieb des Produkts in Bezug auf strukturelle Integrität und betriebliche Wirksamkeit
• Definition, Interpretation und Validierung von Strukturtests zur Zertifizierung
• Erstellen der Projektplanung/-steuerung (Termine/Lead Times) und der projektbegleitenden Dokumentation (Projekt-Reporting/KPIs) für Teilprojekte
• Zusammenarbeit mit Konstruktions- und Projekte Kollegen
• Unterstützung der digitalen Transformation innerhalb der Structural Analysis Community (Implementierung von Automatisierung, Vereinfachung und Neugestaltung von Prozessen, Methoden und Tools)

Deine Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossenes Studium (Ingenieurwesen / Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik) oder auf anderem Wege erworbene vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Langjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Flugzeugstrukturen aus Metall und Composite
• Idealerweise Technical Approver nach Airbus M1020 im Bereich F&DT oder Statik, oder genug Erfahrung, um die Delegation in kurzer Zeit zu erwerben
• Tiefe Kenntnisse in numerischen Berechnungen (Finite-Elemente-Modellierung mit Altair Hyperworks und Nastran oder ähnlichem)
• Beherrschung analytischer Berechnungsmethoden (ISAMI, HSB, Niu, Bruhn)
• Solide Kenntnisse in Programmiersprachen (z. B.: Python) und Datenanalyse;
• Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement
• Englisch verhandlungssicher
• Fähigkeit, autonom zu arbeiten, ein kleines Team von Ingenieuren zu leiten, agil, belastbar
• Offene und neugierige Denkweise sowie eine praktische und agile Vorgehensweise
• Offenheit für neue Arbeitsweisen und proaktive Suche nach kontinuierlicher Selbstentwicklung

Your job

• Creation and technical approval of analysis models, static and/or F&DT calculations, reports and studies for aircraft structures for all Airbus programs (A350XWB, A320 Family, and next generation Aircraft Programs)
• Definition of analysis methods and specifications, stress approval of drawing sets and documentations
• Check and approve of internally and externally created analysis data and documentation;
• Validate relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacturing and support other functions (i.e.: production, customer support) as needed
• Technical monitor, guide and support the sub-contracting firms providing structure analysis work;
• Ensure the adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines for safe operation of the Product with respect to structural integrity and operational effectiveness
• Define, interpret and validate structural tests for certification
• Creation and monitoring of project plans, project performance and reporting
• Collaborate and communicate with relevant stakeholders (design, project, manufacturing)
• Support the Digital Transformation within the Structural Analysis Community (implement automation, simplification, and redesign of processes, methods and tools)

Your qualification

• University degree in the engineering / aerospace field or similar qualification acquired in another way
• Experienced in the development of aircraft structures (metal & composite)
• Ideally technical approver acc. to Airbus M1020 for static and/or fatigue or enough experience to get the delegation in a short time
• Deep knowledge in numerical calculations (Finite Element Modelling using Altair Hyperworks and Nastran or similar)
• Proficient in analytical calculation methods (ISAMI, HSB, Niu, Bruhn);
• English fluent in written and spoken form
• Solid knowledge in programming languages (e.g.: Python) and data analytics
• Knowledge in project management
• Able to work autonomously, to manage a small team of engineers, agile, resilient
• Open and curious mindset as well as a practical and agile approach
• Open-minded for new ways of working and proactively searching for continuous self-development
• Growth mindset and ready to take higher responsibilities
